Hello!

Amy is a 25 year old, Irish gal living in Melbourne. Okay, let’s drop the mysterious third person everyone seems to use in these About sections. We both know I’m writing this. 

So, some things about me. I’m the height of the average 12 year old, I’ve survived a ferocious hurricane, shared the stage with Barack Obama and spent a year in beautiful Barcelona. Look, I have The New Yorker tote bag, I’m a very interesting person.

I love words. Books, articles, podcasts, Instagram captions. I really enjoy writing so I created this site to share some of my work and thoughts. I plan to write about worldly issues. Don’t judge me when you see posts pondering why I can’t stop checking the Kardashians’ profiles, long after unfollowing them.
